The area’s local products are all there: from Salame di Felino – whose museum is in the castle’s kitchens – Culatello di Zibello, Parma ham, Coppa di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese accompanied by the famous torta fritta. Pasta ranging from tortelli agli gnocchi, rigorously homemade together with the bread, to traditional recipes handed down from generation to generation.
